Fly Fishing Guide Services & Rates

Listed below are the fly fishing services and rates that I offer. Don’t see something you are interested in? Contact me!

I offer guided freshwater fly fishing and Tenkara in Connecticut and New York, and beginner fly fishing guided instruction. My specialty and love is small stream fly fishing for trout in Fairfield County, Connecticut and Westchester County and Putnam County, New York. I also fish in many areas of both states including the Farmington River and Housatonic Rivers in Connecticut and the rivers of the Catskills in upstate New York.

All fly fishing trips are wade trips and are either walk in or hike in and based on your preferences/experience and the available river conditions/area.

* If you have never fly fished before I suggest the beginner guided fly fishing instruction. I have found it is the best way for those with no experience to have a fun guided trip on the water and also learn fly fishing. It includes guided dry land instruction reinforced with being guided on the water.

All guided fly fishing trips include the use of Orvis rods and reels, line, leader, tippet and flies or TenkaraUSA rods (tenkara). Waders and boots based on sizing and availability at no charge for your trip. Rates are standard and do not include fishing licenses or gratuity. Guided trips are for up to two people ages 12 and up (parent must accompany minor). This keeps your adventure more intimate and ensures that you have a fun and safe experience.

Payment
Full payment is due at time of booking to confirm your trip.
